I try Solaris 10 10/08 (x86) and OpenSolaris 2008.11 (x86) recently.
OpenSolaris is a LiveCD and installation is as same as Ubuntu LiveCD.
The GUI of both are easy to use.
The Performance of both are better than previous release.
I feel it's a significant improvement!
But, the network support of both are as BAD as previous.
The network chip on my mainboard which is Asus P4PE is Broadcom 4401,
Network chip can't be driven by both system.
So. I feel there is room for improvement on support of devices.
